It was a very nice experience cross country skiing here for the first time. Renting equipment was simple, affordable, and fast. The small lodge was quaint and cozy, with some snacks and sandwiches available.
We had a great time and would definitely come back. This location felt like more of a hidden gem, than a large overly crowded ski resort. If you're looking for a place to cross country ski or "skate," this is the place for you beginner or advanced skier!
The trails were well groomed and varied in terrain. All of the routes were beautiful and peaceful. It took us about 1.5 hours to go around the beginner loop.
Went here in mid January to try out cross country skiing. We were recommended to here by the owner of the B&B we were staying at.
